I had the great fortune to be an Antioch LA student ( 1999-2002) and took several courses of Al's. Each was fascinating, brilliant and unforgettable. Antioch itself made a huge impact on me then and opened my mind to a new world of thinking and possibilities. Al Erdynadt was a very big part of that ( so was Leah Matson and Jeff Marsh) . We would have brief conversations now and then before or after class . I made him a mix CD of music I thought he might like but his wife Rene really liked it (Israel Kamakawiwo’ol version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow in particular ) I also had the pleasure of being introduced to his beautiful family on one occasion. On another occasion he invited me to his office and I was terribly intimidated and put pressure on myself to come up with witty things to say to this true intellectual whose concepts of art, beauty and justice were always in my thoughts. I need not have worried because aside from his brilliance, he was always a gentleman and a kind soul who made me feel at home. Congratulations Professor Erdynast!! , may you live long and thank you for making those years so magical and inspiring for me! Also, thank you to MeHee because you helped me get through so much to make being at Antioch Possible. Great to see you again even if it was just on video.

Isn't Antioch the university pushing racism and bullying their own students? Lot coming out.... Admin is going to prison!
